TOGGLEREC
TOGGLEREC
alternative [] TGLREC
This is a user track action which is designed for an X-Control to do different things, depending on what is happening on that track. Very useful for a live looping setup, because you can combine typical things you want to do on only ONE button. e.g.:
[] 2 / togglerec
if track 2:
-
a clip is recording: it will end the recording on the next bar and starts playback. It also will un-arm the track after the next downbeat.
-
a clip is playing: it will arm the track and start a recording.
OPTIONS
[] tglrec vers
will show you the version number but won’t start or stop any recording[] tglrec log
will activate a logging feature for troubleshooting
fixed length of recording
I added an option to define a fixed number of bars, just like the SREC feature. To use this, just use e.g.
[] 1 / tglrec 2
to record for two bars.
It can get messy if you started a recording with that option and re-trigger a play or a tglrec again. That is fixed with Version 2.3
