Overview

INTRODUCTION

This extension allows you to monitor what is happening in Ableton Live and send it to a TouchOSC layout. It can be also bi-directional, you can trigger and select clips from the OSC Layout. There are some products out there, which can do similar things, what is special about this that you are very flexible to customise it to your needs and integrate it into any TouchOSC Layout you probably have already.

In general, there are two different types how you could use it:

GRID MODE

fixed width and height of observed tracks, which you can move around. This is great if you want a layout similar to a launchpad with a 8x8 grid. I am working on a way to link it automatically to a launchpad box.

TRACK MODE

In this mode you add individual tracks to your layout in any order you like. This is a great way to integrate

REQUIREMENTS

To use this extension you’ll need a ClyphX Pro License. It won’t work without it. You DON’T need the bindings extension, G-Controls nor my 12.1. user actions.

Settings File

This extension will create a configuration file called “Track Clip Listener Setting.txt” in your /user/nativeKONTROL/ClyphX_Pro folder, where all your other ClyphX configuration files are. In this file you can change the default settings when initiating.
